Slovakia's contribution to the EU budget should be €7 million lower than original projections this year, as the EU reported lower expenditures and higher revenues in comparison with its plan.
The EU will thus deduct a surplus of approximately €1.9 billion from contributions by member states, the European Commission reported on April 13.
