Slovakia had second highest industrial output growth in EU

Slovakia's industrial output grew 15.5 percent year-on-year in February 2007, which was the second highest growth rate in the EU.

Slovakia shares second place with the Czech Republic, which also showed a 15.5 percent growth in industrial output.

The industrial output of the EU increased four percent year-on-year in February compared with 3.3 percent in the previous month. In the thirteen-member euro-zone, growth was at 4.1 percent year-on-year in February.

This data comes from information released on April 13 by Eurostat, the EU’s statistical office, and is based on statistical data provided by 21 EU countries.
