Mayors of towns and villages to elect new head

Over 1,600 mayors of Slovak towns and villages met in Bratislava on April 25 to elect a new chairman of the Slovak Association of Towns and Villages (ZMOS). The incumbent chairman and mayor of the village of Štrba, Michal Sýkora, and the mayor of the small town of Tisovec, Peter Mináč, are running for the post.
