SLOVAK Agriculture Minister Miroslav Jureňa and Polish Minister for Farming and Rural Development Andrzej Lepper signed an intergovernmental agreement on how their respective traditional cheese products would be labelled on May 28.
It was agreed that Slovakia will use the registered trademark "slovenský oštiepok" while Poland will use "oscypek" for the countries' similar salty white cheeses.
The deal was signed during a meeting of agriculture ministers from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary on May 28 in Palárikovo (Nitra Region).
