Diesel likely to rise by 30 hellers per litre on June 19

Website www.tankovanie.sk, which tracks the price of fuel in Slovakia, reported on June 18 that the price of diesel is expected to rise on June 19 by 30 hellers up to an average of Sk37.30 (€1.10) per litre.

Petrol prices should remain flat for the time being, mainly because of the lack of clear-cut price trends on the international markets.

The price of diesel on international markets, however, has not only stopped falling, but has begun rising again. The price of diesel in Slovakia in recent weeks has been below the level expected in view of global market developments.
