Cabinet adopts national energy effectiveness concept

At its meeting on July 3, the cabinet approved a draft for Slovakia's energy efficiency. This will be part of Slovakia's energy safety strategy until 2030 that should be elaborated by the end of this month. The draft's main goal is to achieve a gradual reduction of energy consumption until reaching European Union levels. The energy draft's aim is to achieve 9 percent energy savings in the period from 2008 to 2017.
