Highest salaries from Jan-May 2007 paid in telecommunications

According to data published by the Slovak Statistics Office on July 10, the highest average nominal monthly salaries in the first five months of 2007 were paid in the telecommunications sector - Sk45,830 (€1,373).

Other nominal monthly salaries were: in real estate, rentals, business activities and other services, Sk21,499; in industry, Sk19,718; in the sale and maintenance of motor vehicles, Sk18,986; in transport, Sk18,875; in wholesale, Sk18,290; in construction, Sk14,655; in postal services, Sk14,569; and in retail, Sk13,187.

The lowest average nominal salaries were paid in hotels and restaurants, Sk10,439.
