Insurance declarations bring in millions

MANDATORY health insurance declarations have become lucrative for the country and the trend will likely continue this year, the Finance Ministry's Institute for Financial Policy said.

Health insurance declarations for 2005 brought Sk869 million (€25.87 million) to health insurers.

The deadline for submitting health insurance declarations for 2006 was July 2.

According to data released by the health insurance companies in May, health insurance declarations for 2006 brought Sk1.281 billion (€38.2 million).
