Crown approaching record highs against euro

The Slovak crown firmed by 7 hellers on July 13 to reach records against the euro, 33.11/21 SKK/EUR, and the dollar, 24 SKK/USD.

According to Tatra Banka dealer Boris Somorovský, the crown firmed because of the upbeat mood about the economy, coupled with a selling of euros, a purchasing of crowns, and an easing of the US dollar.
