The Sme daily has learned that Prime Minister Robert Fico wants Education Minister Ján Mikolaj to get rid of the BMW X3 he drives to work each day. Fico has recently called on his ministers to use their perks with more sensitivity.
Mikolaj contends that the vehicle is necessary to meet the security and reliability requirements of his position.
Mikolaj’s BMW is the most expensive vehicle driven by any of the cabinet members.
