READERS feedback: Fees would improve system

RE: Part-time students will pay, full-timers continue for free, July 9 - 15, 2007

If something is free, do people see the value in it? I see no problem with instituting a fee for ALL students. Perhaps 20 percent of the actual cost of their education would be fair. The extra money can be put into the university system to improve it. If someone is not able to afford the fee they can apply for extra financial aid. This would greatly improve Slovakia's education system.
