Unemployment figure falls further

The number of people receiving unemployment benefits in Slovakia has been falling steadily, according data from social security provider Sociálna Poisťovna.

Last year almost 27,000 people on average got the benefit. Throughout the first half of this year, the number dropped from 23,861 people in January to 20,360 in June.
