The trial of members of the Róbert Okoličány-led Košice gang began at the Special Court on August 6.
Sixteen people stand accused of 19 crimes, including five murders, two attempted murders, blackmail, illegal possession of weapons and car thefts, according to a SITA newswire report.
During the trial the court will hear 200 witnesses. The chief witness is Robert Gorcsos, Okoličány's former partner who was present in almost all of the 19 crimes. He was mostly a driver, but was also alleged to have directly participated in some murders.
