Bratislava Stock Market turnover down in July

Turnover on the Bratislava Stock Exchange (BCPB) reached Sk8.56 billion (€257 million) in July.

In total, 102,607 securities were traded in 325 transactions during the 21 trading days of July, according to SITA.

Compared to June, turnover grew by 23.8 percent, but it only reached 7.73 percent of the July 2006 turnover. On an annual basis, the number of securities traded was down 95.8 percent, and the number of transactions was down 56.3 percent.
