Employment in Slovakia up two percent

Nearly 2.2 million people were employed in Slovakia in the second quarter of this year.

According to a flash estimate of the Slovak Statistics Office, employment grew two percent from the same period last year.

Total employment after a seasonal adjustment was 2,163,000 people, up 1.8 percent year-on-year.

The Statistics Office will publish updated employment data on September 4.
