Cabinet has OK'd a draft law on the Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) that will boost SIS powers but not increase supervision over SIS activities.
Defense Minister František Kašický said that the current legislation is outdated, the Sme daily wrote on August 16.
Under the draft law, a parliamentary committee would continue overseeing SIS, but it does not actually have any real power, the daily wrote.
