Labour Centre: Unemployment rate 9.3 percent in August

The number of people looking for work in August stood at 9.3 percent, or 241,953 individuals, down by 3,595 month-on-month and by 40,011 year-on-year, the centre for labour, social affairs and the family reported on September 18. The number of job-seekers available for work in August stood at 212,905, with the rate falling from 8.3 percent in July to 8.19 percent. TASR
