Gov't committed to public finance deficit under 3 percent

PM Fico restated on October 3 that Slovakia will adhere to the projected public finances deficit in 2007, which amounts to less than 3 percent of GDP. He also said euro adoption is a strategic priority and will be incorporated into the state budget for 2008, which is currently being prepared.
