THE SLOVAK Ambassador to the Vatican, Jozef Dravecký, presented his credentials to Pope Benedict XVI on September 13, the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
After meeting the new ambassador, the head of the Roman Catholic Church praised the fruitful cooperation with Slovakia. He said the Vatican is ready to complete a set of bilateral treaties, and stressed that Slovakia has a lot to offer to Europe as a whole because of its rich cultural and spiritual heritage, the TASR newswire wrote.
