Kubiš attends Euromed Conference in Lisbon

Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ján Kubiš is visiting Lisbon from November 5-6 to attend a conference of Euromed (European and Mediterranean countries) foreign affairs ministers, the ministry reports.

At the conference, the representatives of 37 countries will assess the results achieved within the so-called Barcelona Process, and will discuss the perspective for further direction of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership in the coming period. The Barcelona Process is a unique and ambitious initiative which laid the foundations of a new regional relationship and which represents a a turning point in Euro-Mediterranean relations. TASR
