OPERA: Nabucco. One of the most popular operas by Giuseppe Verdi tells the story of the Babylonian nation, led by King Nabucco, which invades Jerusalem.

EXHIBITION: Thesis. Three Slovaks and one Bulgarian, all of whom studied under Slovak artist Ján Berger, exhibit their oil paintings at the Marat Art gallery.

STREET EXHIBITION: Veteran Ralley Slovakia 2001. A parade of rare vehicles will wind through the Bratislava Old Town accompanied by the music of Slovak band Funny Fellows.

LIVE CONCERT: The Slovak Brass Harmony group will hold a concert on the Main Square, as part of the Summer Days of Culture in Bratislava.
