Energy price regulation office to start work in 2003

The Office for the Regulation of [Energy] Networks, which is to set prices for gas and electricity in Slovakia, is not to assume this function until January 1, 2003, following a deal with the former communist SDĽ party to allow the government to continue protecting citizens from market prices.
