"1001 Europe" lecture series

Professor Hans-Jürgen Rabe, Germany's EU legislation representative in Brussels, dicusses fields of legislation in the integration process in which European law has a direct impact on the individual. He will discuss topics such as free trade, freedom of movement, and freedom in the fields of services and civil law.
The lecture is in German, translated into Slovak and French, given in cooperation with the EU Delegation, the French Institute and the Austrian Cultural Centre.

Italian Embassy - Film Festival

The Italian Cultural Institute invites all movie lovers to see a series of films produced in Italy. Films are in Italian with Slovak subtitles.
On May 17, at 20:00. The comedy Kisses and Hugs by Paolo Virzí tells the story of an exhuberant Christmas celebration of a group of people all cherishing their dreams and happiness in order to forget their problems, failures and loneliness.
On May 18, at 17:30. Scent of the Night by Claudio Caligari tells the story of a group of robbers suffering from identity crises.
