Hotel Forum sale receives jolt

The Ministry of Economy has cancelled a proposed contract on the sale of a building lot under the state-owned Forum Hotel in Bratislava, and has laid charges against a state-appointed official in charge of the sale. The ministry said the official had drawn up the sale contract without securing the agreement of the Privatisation Ministry.
