Piešťany spa tender cancelled over money fears

The FNM state privatisation agency has cancelled a tender for the SLK Piešťany health spa, but has repeated its intention to sell a 67% stake in the spa by the end of the year. The daily paper Sme earlier reported the FNM had been concerned that the ownership structure of at least one bidder was unclear and that it could be funded from groups in the Turkish part of Cyprus.
