Košice region schools awash in debt

The head of the state administration in Košice region said yesterday his offices and the region’s school network faced collapse for their failure to pay energy bills and late payment fines; of the region’s 115 million crowns ($2.4 million) debt as of August 31, the school sector owed 88 million crowns.
