First EFSAL tranche could arrive next month

Finance Minister Brigita Schmögnerová September 25 signed an EFSAL (Enterprise and Financial Sector Adjustment Loan) agreement on 200 million euros with the World Bank's Roger Grawe; the credit will arrive in three tranches, with the first 60 million euros likely to be released within a month.

The money will be used to help finance reform of the Slovak corporate and financial sectors.
