Skinheads beat young Roma man

Marek Baláž, 20, suffered a concussion and wounds to his head requiring 20 stitches yesterday when attacked by a group of about 20 men with shaved heads in the western Slovak town of Prievidza. Police are investigating whether the beating had a racial motive. Baláž is a member of Slovakia’s Roma minority.
