Reader Feedback: Having a "person" in university helps

Dear Editor,

One day I read a paragraph in your newspaper about Slovak students and Comenius University in Bratislava ["Schools still rejecting young talent" by Martina Pisárová Vol. 7 No. 35 September 17-23].

The article was about students who didn't apply to study at the management faculty of Bratislava's Comenius University because there wasn't a place for them. Some people argue that talented people apply to study at university all the time.

Personally I think many people study at university because they have a "person" there or they have money. This problem was, is and will be in our country while teachers are badly paid.
