As of the beginning of October, a new bank named HVB Slovakia has come onto the market as a result of a fusion between the former HypoVereinsbank Slovakia and Bank Austria Creditanstalt Slovakia following the merger of their parent banks.
According to data released by the bank, HVB Slovakia has 11,000 clients with a network of 10 branches. The bank is planning to expand and will open two new branches, in Trenčin and Nitra, by the end of this year.
