Letter to the Editor: Americans should appreciate what they have

I am writing in response to your commentary "November 17: Love it or hate it, that's democracy" [Vol. 5 No. 43, Nov. 15-21]. I thought the editorial was excellent. I wish that more people in this country had a chance to read it and appreciate what we have here, and not have to go through the wringer like you people in Slovakia are now experiencing. Good luck! I hope everything works out for you in the future.
