GDP growth target lowered after attacks

The Finance Ministry has revised downward its forecast for this year's GDP growth rate, from 3.2 to 3%, blaming an expected US recession, slower growth on Slovakia's main export markets, and declining domestic demand. Other forecasts that have been revised include: average annual inflation, from 7 to 7.6%, and average unemployment, from 16.3% to 18.9%.
