Cabinet to get more power to meet EU timetable

A draft bill giving the government greater power to pass laws without parliamentary approval in 13 broad areas is expected to take force December 1; the wider powers are needed if Slovakia is to meet the schedule of legal reforms required for EU entry, its authors say.
