EU funds not misued

The head of the Supreme Control Office public finance watchdog has said his office's investigation of an EU funds scandal this spring revealed no misuse of EU taxpayer funds in Slovakia. The final results of the study will be published October 30.

Funds from the EU were suspended earlier this year over suspicions of their mishandling by a senior government office official, Roland Tóth.
