EU says no to year-end list

A list of candidate countries most likely to gain entry into the EU in 2004 will not be released by the end of this year, EU representatives said after a meeting in the Belgian town of Ghent this weekend. Instead it will release a table showing who has what chances of closing what pre-accession chapters, the daily Sme reported.
