KDH to run alone in regional elections

The coalition Christian Democrats (KDH) announced they would be running alone in regional elections this December, rejecting cooperation with other parties. KDH leader Pavol Hrusovsky, who was reelected for a further two year term at a party conference over the weekend, said that the party was "prepared for a fight" in the elections, the daily Sme reported.
