Reader Feedback: Not the best choice of words

Definitely the wrong type of comment for a supposedly responsible, publicly-elected official, especially a mayor of this or any other town, to be making! [Quote of the Week, Vol. 7 No. 39, October 15-21]

Instead, the mayor should be working hand-in-hand with law enforcement officials to ban altogether this sort of public event in the future and make belonging to any neo-Nazi or other racist organisation completely illegal.

Mayor Hatajčík need only look back to the second world war to see the consequences of a "this sort of thing doesn't interest me" attitude among many Slovaks!
