E-signatures draft sent back

Parliament has failed to approve a bill on electronic signatures that would give electronic documents the same legal weight as paper. The draft was returned by MPs for reworking November 6.

Experts say communication between companies and the carrying out of transactions and closing of deals could become much quicker with the legislation in place.
