Finance Minister Brigita Schmögnerová said that if parliament fails to pass a bill cancelling taxpayer-supported funds, the 2002 state budget draft will have to be withdrawn from debate and reworked.
The minister has recently issued a number of warnings that the cancelling of various funds must be agreed to.
The government has promised the International Monetary Fund and World Bank it will cancel the funds before next year.
