Justice Minister urges haste on past crimes

Justice Minister Ján Čarnogurský has called on Slovak courts to move more quickly in cases involving serious political or economic crimes committed under the former Vladimír Mečiar administration. He reported that over a dozen such cases are at various stages in the trial process, although none have yielded a verdict.
