2002 trade deficit to set record

According to an Economy Ministry forecast, next year's trade deficit will exceed even this year's expected record of Sk83.5 to Sk92 billion ($1.84 billion).

The ministry also forecast a current account balance deficit of as high as 8% of GDP in 2002.
