Car sales in Slovakia dipped 7.8% in September compared to the month before, recording their second lowest monthly total this year. Last month, 3,842 new cars were sold in Slovakia, of which 420 were commercial vehicles.
Skoda, with a 52.2% share of the Slovak market (1,788 cars and 75 commercial vehicles sold), remained the best selling automaker in Slovakia. Since the beginning of the year, Skoda has sold 23,507 cars. Daewoo was second with 517 cars and 53 commercial vehicles, and Volkswagen ended third (148 cars and 9 commercial vehicles).
