Slovak businessmen launch mission in China

A one-week Slovak business mission to China got underway on September 6 with meetings between corporate leaders of the two countries in Tianjin, a special economic-technological zone about 150 km from Beijing.

The Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SOPK) is the organizer of the mission, which hopes to establish new contacts for Slovak entrepreneurs during bilateral talks in Beijing, Tianjin, Hong Kong and Xiamen. SOPK Chairman Peter Mihók was received on September 6 by officials of the Chinese Foreign Ministry and the Hong Kong Council for Trade Development.
