State sends humanitarian aid to Turkey

A cargo aeroplane belonging to the Interior Ministry transported 11 tons of humanitarian aid to Turkey August 28 to help the Turkish people deal with the aftershocks of the recent earthquake disaster.

The cargo consisted of tents and blankets. In addition, the Ministries of Health, Economy, and Defence are planning to send their own forms of humanitarian aid in upcoming days to the most hit areas of Turkey, Defence Ministry spokeswoman Barbora Kuchanková said.
