Palacka's resignation helps build cabinet support

Citizens are putting more trust in the cabinet of Mikuláš Dzurinda since former Telecom Minister Gabriel Palacka resigned, a recent poll found.

In a 500-respondent phone poll conducted on August 24-25, the Polis agency found that while at the beginning of August 38.4% of the population trusted the cabinet, after Palacka's resignation that figure climbed to 41.3%. However, 44.4% of Slovaks still do not trust the cabinet.
