Letter to the Editor: The Slovak Spectator no friend of the environment

Dear Editor,

As a regular subscriber I receive every issue of The Slovak Spectator packed in a neat plastic foil. It is practical, but have you ever thought about the consequences? I am neither an expert in waste disposal nor an eco-freak, but from what I know, PVC is not the most environmentally friendly type of packaging. How about a paper stripe or something similar? Or nothing at all.

I understand that you, alone, cannot have a notable impact on Slovakia's waste management policy but sometimes it's the little things that can make a difference or, at least, set a good example to follow. And believe me, I will not like TSS any less without that plastic wrap.
