Four potential foreign buyers have expressed interest in copper smelter Kovohuty Krompachy, and will carry out due diligence in January next year; the smelter is majority owned by the Luxembourg firm Capitalue, and employs 450 people. It is running at half capacity, and this year will break even on turnover of about Sk830 million.
