The cabinet by a majority of one vote elected yesterday to reject a proposal that it purchase 15 hectares of forest from Košice city for almost Sk1 billion in order to help the city out of a threatened cross-default. Those voting against were almost entirely from Prime Minister Mikuláš Dzurinda’s SDKÚ party.
