Transpetrol ditches VSŽ stake in surprise sale

The sale of a 21% stake in steel maker VSŽ by state pipeline firm Transpetrol on December 20 has drawn surprise from state officials, as the identity of the buyer is not known, and the purchase price of Sk160 per share was well below the Sk200 that VSŽ itself had offered.
