Ministers to meet over campany losses

TRANSPORT Minister Jozef Macejko and Finance Minister Brigita Schmögnerová will meet over refinancing the losses from subsidised transport for Železnična Spoločnosť, a.s. (ŽS) and Železnice Slovenskej Republiky (ŽSR) later this month.

Head of the Transport Ministry's Railway Transport Section, Dušan Pajdlhauser said that Sk1.843 billion, calculated for the output in public interest in the 2002 state budget, is not sufficient for both railway companies.
